Mark Schultz – Youth & Freestyle/Greco Coach


Coach Schultz wrestled at national powerhouse Glenbard North High School and  for 4 years in college. In 2006 he finished top 8 at the Illinois state tournament and finished with 125 career wins.  Coach Schultz was a multiple time freestyle state place winner and greco roman state champion, representing the Illinois national team several times.  Coach Schultz has 10+ years of youth coaching experience, he also spent 4 years as an assistant wrestling coach at Wahlert.  Coach Schultz also spent 3 years coaching collegiality.


Darrin Kaisand- Youth & Freestyle/Greco Coach

Coach Kaisand wrestled at Grinnell High School and University of Dubuque. He was 2x IA state qualifier, 2004 state finalist at 145lbs.  In freestyle/greco roman Coach Kaisand was a multiple time state place winnter and national qualifer.  He also has 2 years of college coaching expierience and was an assistant coach at Hempstead HS for 7 years. at UD for 2 years and then spent 7 years as an assistant coach at Hempstead High School.

Wil Kelly- Youth & Freestyle/Greco Coach

Coach Kelly comes to DWC with a great resume both as a wrestler and a coach.  As a wrestler coach Kelly was a 3x Iowa high school state champion for Wahlert.  He also won the junior freestyle national championship, and finished runner up in greco.  Coach Kelly was also a JR world team member finishing runner up in freestyle, and 3rd in greco roman. Coach Kelly was a 2x NCAA all american and a NCAA Champion during his collegiate career.  Kelly has coached both youth and high school wrestling for 15 years including 9 years as the head coach of Cedar Falls HS, Iowa national team coach for 1t years, and has been a team leader on 15 international wrestling exchanges.  Coach Kelly also has 6 years of college coaching experience.


Freestyle Clinician Jon Orillion

Coach Orillion grew up in Louisiana wrestling for state powerhouse Jesuit.  While wrestling there his teams earned 2 team state championships and placed individually at the state tournament 2x (3rd, & 2nd).  Coach O was also a member of the Louisiana national team and competed at Cadet/Junior national championships in Fargo.  Coach O is now currently an assistant coach at Loras College, spent 15 years coaching youth/HS in Louisiana and was the national team coach there for 8 years.  Coached 15 all americans and a national champion during his time as the national team coach. Coach O  also coached multiple state champions and all state wrestlers during his tenure at Archbishop Rummel where he served as the head high school coach from 2013-2017.  Coach Orillion has coached wrestlers who have earned a bronze medal at the U23 greco world championships, and also coached a member of the U23 women’s world championship team!
